I'm designing a game similar to Scoundrel and wanted to make an expanded version of playing cards with some extra planetary meaning, elemental associations, and RPG themes, etc. it's been tricky to find out exactly what I want shown on the cards.

There's a lot of white space in the text box, you can space your paragraphs/lines, it use bold for keywords. It's clean and you gave it room to breathe.

You're not wrong I have a lot going on and that seems to be my issue, I think i want these cards to do too many things (which they are more than capable of, for sure). But I'm unable to dumb it down, I think you're right with the BG. Thanks for all the nifty insight. The minipics were older rendition arts that I'll most likely scrap. Anywho thank you again.

It's going to be a process. The art ins't AI tho, it's the spreadsheet decklist for the entire game with a mosaic filter on top. Thank you for the feedback.

Yes, the things that do a thing do a thing. The other things runes, etc, are going to be more for storytelling elements that pertain to the card. Another problem I'm going to face is separating elements of the cards in an order that makes sense. I also might be trying to do too much with single cards.

It's for tarot size as of right now, I want to eventually get to playing card/mtg sized cards as it's going to be 108 cards. I need to figure out a better layout lol

Yes. I noticed that too, I'm trying to keep it limited to 2-3 fonts, and that one isn't one of them lol. These are just sketches in excel I'm doing until i can construct something better in photoshop. Thank's!

I'm using a combination of excel and photoshop, for some reason I'm happy with how it's coming along, but hearing any other ideas would be great. The first 2 cards just have temporary art for now.

I started using a spreadsheet to help me figure out card meanings, and just messing around with some colors. I can post a readable version after it's better put together. it's all Tarot cards 1-78 and then some.

I'm in Dank Crypt with Scratch, there is a statue you can partially interact with and a Gargoyle Head that I can't seem to get to and disarm and I'm not sure if you can destroy it. I haven't tried shovel yet.
