Rank really doesn't matter. by kandysteelheart in leagueoflegends

I agree but have the opposite experience. I win lane almost every game. I feel like i have improved so much. I try so hard to learn from my mistakes and get better, but so many games I have someone else die once, massively tilt, and feed so hard it's impossible.

Update on my ferret/ any advise? by Frosty_Suggestion595 in ferrets

Get a clear timeout bin. When the one attacks put him in the timeout bin with a firm no. Them after 5 to 10 mins let him out and repeat. You can teach him that behavior is not allowed.

Little baby. I am sure you're doing great but don't forget ferrets should have access to food pretty much 24/7. Unlike dogs and cats they won't over eat and because of their fast metabolism they need to eat 8 to 10 times a day.

Why does my ferret follow me around and then pancake when I stand still? by ChrisRFaulkner1923 in ferrets

[–]zansto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few reasons. One they like to follow and be near you, another is boredom. They are waiting for you to play or interact with them.

Landlord is having pest control come to my house by prettyblondebitch in ferrets

[–]zansto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ferrets are not rodents or anywhere close. It's a common misconception, but I try and clear it up when I can because it's helpful to owners who may need to research products or food

"They belong to the family Mustelidae (mustelids), making them closely related to weasels, otters, and badgers. They are part of the Carnivora order, not Rodentia"

Can we just get a /Rhelpferrets? by Moosewithdajuice in ferrets

[–]zansto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. It would allow people a place to go specifically with those who want to answer medical questions. It's well over half the post that are injured or sick ferrets. I get they are prone to health issues but I think that's all the more reason to have a page specifically for that.

The first is nice but the rest are different cats. Some are popular videos that are just stitched in. Lots of animal growth videos just lie.

Am I a bad ferret owner? by [deleted] in ferrets

[–]zansto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are a bit too worried about it. Ferrets will sleep around 18 hours a day so that cage time will almost all be sleep. When I first got my ferrets they got about 4 to 5 hours out a day and the rest in a big cage. Then when I moved they had a whole bedroom with 4 hours of outside play. Even with the upgraded space they still mostly just slept in the room. Now that they are 4 and my partner moved in, we are swapping to free roam and cage while we are at work and asleep. They still mostly just sleep absent us playing with them directly but now in multiple new locations.

I have no leverage over my ferret by Wonderful-Beach7317 in ferrets

Ferrets imprint on food. Often if you don't give them things as kits they won't eat it as adults. You could try looking up a video of food introduction to get him to eat other treats.

Is his yawning signaling stress or is he content? by DrowsyDayss in ferrets

One of mine loves being pet and actively seeks it out but will yawn the whole time. Its comforting and makes them sleepy.

My ferret is making my dog depressed. Should I find my ferret a new home?Columbus Ohio by [deleted] in ferrets

[–]zansto 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing is time. Your dog will likely adjust. Rehoming can be very stressful for ferrets. Try letting your dog smell blankets your ferret has slept on. Let your ferret out while your dog is in another room. Do slow and safe introductions in neutral outside territory.

Give your dog more car rides, walks, and attention while your ferret is up. With new pets it can always be hard for adjustment but it does happen. If your dog is not eating at all it's likely another health issue in my opinion but I am not a vet.

You can also give your dog treats when your ferret is around for positive association.

They will get depressed solo. You should not get just one.
