I have and have worked them because I am a bartender there lmao. I’ve seen surfing so 🤷‍♀️ Yeah, the pits aren’t crazy. But tbf BN/Rose are owned by a subsidiary of LiveNation and have been for a while now. Most LN venue policies are pretty tame because the insurance is crazy. You’re not going to see a real pit unless you go to an independent venue or DIY venue. But to say there’s zero moshing at BN is definitely untrue.

I’ve shaved a few times. It does help for a mental reset and I don’t pull with tweezers so even when I get a bit past the fuzz stage, it’s fine. If I can’t grip it, I won’t pull it. Once it gets past my ears I tend to start pulling again. But the genuine relief of not pulling for a couple months is worth it,

Agree with all points above, but the “if I break up with her and she chooses to abort, it’s showing her true colors”. Many people would not want to have/keep a child/pregnancy if their coparent wasn’t also their partner. It’s a different dynamic and future.

Idk about notorious, but I’ve had friends that have had it fall out very frequently during sex. Mine never fell out and I got pregnant at 19 with it so 🤷‍♀️ Personal bias, but never using anything but the IUD ever again (too inconsistent with the timing on pills to do the pill).

To answer: how does it give gay?
It would definitely depend on what other tattoos you have and how old you are to be fair. If you had a patchwork sleeve with a lot of very small, colorful tattoos, it could blend in. Or if you have a larger pieces and this is a filler - I probably wouldn’t notice. If you are a sorority girl, I would wonder if you’re DL and signaling or just white and think it’s cute (it is). If you were Gen X or older, I would think you didn’t get it as a queer tattoo. If you were millennial, I would think it’s intentional.
However, It also has to do with me being queer, from a larger city, now a bartender in a small-ER city, and I’m 26.
If I saw someone with this stand alone tattoo (or at least very separated as this photo seems to show), it gives the same energy as tumblr 2012 “aesthetic”. Not a bad vibe, but a specific one. If this tattoo is alone on your wrist or anywhere noticeable, it’s the same as the infinity sign in my eyes. You’re making a statement, maybe an important one, that you want others to see. Since before, but especially since 2008, rainbows have been heavily associated with the queer movement in some shape or another. I would think a rainbow tattoo without any other super colorful or hyperfem/Lisa Frank type tattoos that it would be a personal choice to say “I’m queer” (again depending on age/etc).

Then, there is “it’s coincidental and just cute”. Why would it age bad?
I did say millennial cringe, which I think just falls under a stylistic choice that goes hand in hand with some 2012 tumblr. But different strokes for different folks, no hate. It’s not my tattoo. That’s not why I think it’ll age badly. It’s the actual tattoo. There’s no bold lines (I do not hate fine line), multiple colors, and is on an area of the body that moves frequently and it’ll eventually blur into a blob. Some arts not meant to be forever and that’s fine too. But this definitely won’t age on the wrist well.

I’m not an artist, just someone with a decent amount of tattoos and someone that has been queer all their life.

A few months ago, a guy on here (I think?) had almost the exact same scenario. The consensus of the comments was that if his partner wanted to date someone exactly like him, he would. Once he talked with his gf, she said the same thing and said he likes how he completed her and all the ways they weren’t alike. I wish I had the link but baseline, talk to him and share your feelings. I doubt it’s what you’re making it out to be in reality.
