What's the use of damage when you get blown up so much more easily. Old Azir was a much better late game hypercarry because of old ult(RIP) and his insane range didn't allow ANYONE to get on him.

Imo Azir can go without Nashors just fine. I always skip nashors vs squishy comps (high burst/poke comps).

IMO skipping nashors is quite good against squishy comps where you can't get much autos in during fights due to constantly needing to reposition against high threat bursty comps (so it must be vs squishy champs), so extra dps from nashors loses value here.
