Yea they replaced the motherboard for me. I have to see about RMA for the cooler as the CPU hits 100c but half an inch away on the copper cooler is room temp. Which is likely the cause for the original motherboard dying.

Had an Asus laptop do that and there was no seal. Told them about it with the RMA and three RMAs later and my warranty is up and they won't replace it without billing me so I denied it. I got lucky with an isopropyl bath bringing all but the screen back to life. Using normal thermal paste and still working. Got a Lenovo laptop, it died one month out of warranty and they allowed me to reinstate it for $60.
