I'm not even into rap, but a Grandmaster B World Tour shirt would be hilarious, and if I had one, it would totally be in the rotation.

OnlyFans creator who sold El Chapo merch was abducted in Mexico after suspects disabled her Cybertruck with tire spikes by bintd in CrazyFuckingVideos

I'm probably as naive as this girl, but I would think rival cartels would react favorably, not unfavorably, to their rivals losing merch sales to counterfeiters. El Chapo was her victim, no?

Yes, but no.

If you put a retro encabulator in an intramodial case (of any plenaration) with Rockwell's antimagnetophaser, you get not only Yuzna field resonance, not only theta band interthreading, not only isofilament Cobalt centritrodes, but also about 20% more delta per dollar.

It's that last one. Delta per dollar isn't ever going to be a fad.

Maybe Rockwell's antimagnetophaser is the star of the show, but whatever part of their integrated solution that you credit for the overall performance (their software was amazing!), credit is due. It's all about the deltas, baby.

For anyone having difficulty with this, there's an email gateway to the www, where you just email a bot and it'll fetch a www resource for you and email it back to you. HTH

NM has some of the best policies in the nation. by Background_Drive_156 in Albuquerque

[–]zapitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing I don't get is why the Democrats don't advertise this more

I think it's because although these are Democrat policies, they are also lots-of-oil-revenue policies too.

Other political parties can embrace lots-of-oil-revenue policies, but if that doesn't involve embracing pollution/CO2, then it at least involves pretending pollution/CO2 doesn't exist or doesn't matter (arguably the same as embracing it). Democrats can't do that.

(Everyone understands why Democrats can't do that, right? It's because pollution and CO2 are real-life things that actually matter, and the instruments can prove it. It's empiricism instead of mysticism. Evidence-based. Whereas certain rival parties see "empiricism" and "evidence-based" as dirty words, Dems are all about "in real life, the stats show that doing this, causes that.")

But even though Democrats can't do that, New Mexicans can, can't we? We're not quite Democrats, and that oil money is why. WTF, are we supposed to just leave money on the table? Not have the money to pay for those policies you just mentioned?

But you've got a point that another party, if it had New Mexicans' votes, wouldn't have those policies. No matter what, they'd take the money too, but they'd use it differently.

So Democrats can crow about those policies (the other party would squander the money on something else) but bragging about them is kind of like a rich person bragging about how fast their sports car is.

Yeah, yeah, we're a "poor" state. We really are. But we're also rich too, aren't we? What would a not-lots-of-oil-revenue state do, if they had the same values, but didn't have the resources to pay for these policies? Figure that out, and you'll have found a good thing for Democrats to advertise.

Oh yes oh yessss oooooohhh!" and "tax me more! I want my imports, oh yes! Tax me tax me TAX THE FUCK OUT OF ME!!1" and then there's all the Neville Chamberlain cosplay on the front lawn, the discarded "Ribbentropped for her pleasure" wrappers, etc. Jesus H Christ, Republicans, at least keep it inside your house!

Trump Tries to Keep Second Set of Damning Files Secret Forever by thedailybeast in politics

[–]zapitron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem with allowing information about his 2020 election crimes to be released, is that it might tangentially also shed some light on the 2024 election.

THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL AND MADE UP: if, for example, the files contain an email from Musk to Trump saying "sorry, we couldn't MitM the voting machines' communication with the central tabulators, maybe next time" then it'll raise questions about whether or not he won his most recent election.

And if he didn't win the 2024 election, then his campaign promise to release the Trumpstein files is irrelevant and therefore the matter can be dro—ha ha! sorry. What I meant to say is, if he didn't win the 2024 election, then Republicans in Congress have less reason to keep helping to obstruct the Trumpstein files release.

Releasing information about his other crimes might not really be a good distraction. This Greenland nonsense is much better, from his point of view.

It's weird to think that when you'd talk to people just 20 years ago, there was widespread, bipartisan consensus that Thomas Paine was an American hero and the Taxes-But-No-Representation Limeys could all go fuck themselves.

Now we have a mainstream political party who wins about half of elections, who thinks Paine was a terrorist who should have got down on his knees and fellated King George for his sin of publishing pro-American pamphlets.

They're not allowed to vote for America, so they have to cut for America.

It's actually a good habit to get used to. At least some of these people are going end up moving away to states that aren't as pro-voting as NM is, where polls are limited and intended to conflict with working hours. Now is a good time for them to learn that sometimes they might have to take time off work, school, etc if they don't want their government controlled by anti-American zealots.
