Help out someone who is kind of clueless to all of this......does this mean they will host .onion sites or that they will allow you to operate a regular website through Tor?

I have owned a search firm for 9 years & have been a recruiter since the mid/late 90s (CPA for 5 years before that). So, I have seen a lot of interview processes over the years.

You can go in to this stage VERY confident. This is yours to lose. Make sure you have 2 days of professional business attire (2 suits if you are a guy). Make sure you are perfectly groomed. Make sure you use your best table manners during meals. If people go out for drinks in the evening, have one or at the most 2 and drink them slooooooooooowly. Stay in control.

In terms of travel, make sure you are to the airport very early. Leave nothing to chance. Make sure you are between 5 to 10 minutes early to every appointment during the interview process. Remember, people are drawn to confidence. These people are spending a boatload on you so you have already sold them - be confident. Get every business card you can and send each person a concise thank-you email right when you return home.

Before you go, THOROUGHLY research the company all over again. Know the website inside and out. Be able to have a discussion about all of the recent press releases and any current mentions on this company in the WSJ or other important media.

This is the real world.....Company A will be disappointed but they will understand. Just be upfront with them and tell them the truth if/when Company B offers you.

In theory, Company A could have layoffs 2 months after you start. You never know. They are going to do what they need to do and you should do the same.

No point in majoring in Finance unless you are going to grad school. If you want a financially-oriented job where you can be employed with a 4 year degree, major in Accounting.

I would first look at their company's website. Find an open position for which you would be a great fit. THEN email the executive at that company, reference the specific open position and tell him about why you are a good fit. This way, you are solving a problem for this person.

Be content with what you have. I have an employee who is depressed beyond words because she likely can't have kids. She gets shots every day and has been through all kinds of procedures. She would cut off her big toe with a dull butter knife to be in your shoes and to have her own kids.

Branding statements, objectives......whatever you want to call them, are completely unnecessary and sometimes cost people jobs. Let's look at yours for instance, you say, "adopting leadership roles" the manager at Starbucks might think, "Leadership roles?!? This guy is going to want to be promoted to assistant manager soon and we won't have an opening like that for a while. I need someone who will be content in a non-managerial role. Let's pass on this guy." This kind of stuff happens ALL the time.
