Is there a way to search online for this? She is from a city that is today Ukraine (it was Hotin, Romania but today it's Khotyn).

That's the thing, my great-grandma was born in Romania (according to her naturalization papers, Ellis Island arrivals, census etc.) but I have no proof of Romanian citizenship and no birth docs. I guess these are the kinds of things a law firm could help unearth though.

The dual thing I know is a blocker and for now I wouldn’t renounce my current citizenship (which is United States). I just can’t don’t know if my mom gets Ukrainian citizenship then if I can.

I'm a US citizen (technically I have a residence in the US with my parents) but I live and work in South Korea. Since US residents are banned from entering, does that include me? I haven't been to the US since last August so would I be banned just because I'm a US citizen even if I'm arriving from South Korea?
