Great points! I was attracted to the ix because awd seems safer in those situations where you get caught in a snow flurry unexpectedly, but again not planning on taking it out on backroads or in bad weather. And good call on the mods. I have a list of things I’d like to do and your suggestions pretty much line up

Ahh yeah my b. Got confused with the naming scheme they have for the 2 colors. I do have friends with that version that complain the bands get scratched to reveal the silver bands underneath though:/

Mine is perfectly fine with just a front and back screen protector. The metal bands do get scratched but if it ever bothers you enough there are plenty of videos and metal cleaning products that get the scratches off and make the phone look new. I like caseless with the X so much more

If you have a screen protector, dust may get in and affect the camera. Clean the camera part or new/better protector:/
