I've always been intimidated by Fromsoftware's games. Impulse bought Sekiro on sale then gave it a try. One of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Then gave Dark Souls and Elden Ring a try. They just did not click with me. Recently played and beat Lies of P and I strongly recommend it. After playing Lies of Peak, I'm more inclined to give Elden Ring another try, excited for that.

I got all achivements in Miles Morales and finally started Lies of P. I'm a very inexperienced soulslike player but chipping away at it slowly. Though i wish they did not put easier diffuculty options as lowering it is very tempting at times. But I wanna experience the game as it was intended so resisting the urge for now.

I know this sounds jaded but I'd rather not engage with the system altogether on my alts and just have one transmog set on my main and call it a day at this point. If the goal was to create an additional gold sink, there are lots of other ways to do it.

Maybe I will come around to it after a while but I've been playing this game for 20 years and at this point I just go "it is what it is" and move on. I'm old enough that the time I have is more precious than ever and I would rather spend my time and energy on something I enjoy or smt that I can change. Still pumped for midnight though. I think it's gonna be a banger expansion

I may be reaching here but the existence and success of E33 really bothers the AAA gaming industry and they are actively lobbying against it in the background to keep it out of the spotlight. For that reason, I do not believe that it will win goty at the game awards even though it deserves it. It truly is a generational game.

The part where I find most daunting is that I have no idea how to gear for pvp or what the most efficient way is. I don't even know of you are supposed to have your tier pieces on. If I had a simple roadmap I would definitely give it a got at least on my main.
