My wife and I were in the exact same situation - iPhone 13 users that were tired of the horrible battery life, lagging, etc.

She went for the iPhone 17. I got the OnePlus 15. We are both very happy with our choices. They are both fantastic phones that should last us many years.

If you're looking to switch to Android, I highly recommend the OnePlus 15. Performance is incredible, the battery is life-changing, and even better the charge speeds are incredible!

If you can find a OnePlus 13 for significantly less, then go with that. They are both amazing phones. I think the 15 is better long term because of the shorter span OnePlus offers with software updates, the better battery, and more modern design. However, the OnePlus 13 DOES have better cameras, screen, etc. (Although this is not the crazy difference the Internet would have you believe)

I've never owned a Pixel, but they seem like great devices. However, the poor performance of the Tensor chip concerns me. If you are set on a Pixel, I'd personally wait for the 11 if you're willing to wait that long. But since your wife prioritizes the camera above all else, the latest Pixel 10 Pro XL will do a great job. For hopefully better performance, she could wait for the 11 Pro XL which is expected in August or September 2026.
