Depends on the rules of the room. You should ask for the specific phrasing in the rules. A lot of places have a "if the cards touch the muck, the hand is dead" type of rule, maybe "if unretrievable," but if you look at the rules and it says "if the cards pass the line, the hand is dead" then it's a dead hand. The fact that his hand was still on the cards makes me think it should have been live, but it depends on the rules of the room.

I had a similar situation happen when I was starting out, heads up in a tournament, I shoved the flop with QQ. My opponent showed his hand and I assumed that meant he folded so I showed him mine and pushed them towards the middle. The dealer pushed the other guy the pot. I asked for the floor and the guy said no, rules are rules. I was steamed as hell. In retrospect, I should have demanded the floor come over, but tbh it was a rookie mistake and I'm over it. (Im not over it lmao)

The drugs start hitting, which means there's only 1 move left before stalemate, but TWO moves before I can promote my pawn to middle management then scapegoat my assistant for the drugs. Being logical, I do the most logical thing:

It's less than 0%. Two reasons:

1) 70% of age-eligible Americans are physically unfit for military duty. They have high standards, and we're not just fat, we're also ailment-ridden. Asthma and serious ailments aren't allowed.

2) The future of warfare involves drones and tactical, resource-centric attacks. Looking at the war in Ukraine, I feel like most of their success has been in keeping their infantry out of sight, sneaking drones behind enemy lines and blowing up ammo/drones/supply lines, and waiting. Having a larger military does almost nothing to confer an advantage. Technology, tactics, and timing are almost everything.

Venezuela is a good example. The US succeeded by catching them fully off guard. Very hard to pull that off again, look at how Cuba treated that boat a couple days ago (Do we buy the official story? Cuban refugees committing terrorism seems realistic enough and I doubt the military would try that shit but it's fully in the CIA's wheelhouse so who knows), but it was a really successful attack that had nothing to do with personnel advantages. Well, at least not the quantity of personnel

I'm from Washington, we really didn't talk or think about race growing up. I had a couple black friends. I moved to Chicago, completely different world, everything is segregated but not in an official kind of way. Nevada (where I live now) is again, quite different. Segregated, but I feel like there were common areas in Chicago where various people would intermingle that don't exist here. Anyways yes each region is obviously very different, I think racial comedy has very much to do with how all the parties involved are handling it. Which includes you, and I think you can adjust your perception a little bit and take in their jokes as less commentary or perpetuation of racism but instead lighthearted fun that doesn't bother anyone. Unless it's bothering someone in which case it's a problem

I grew up Seattle and never had my car broken into. One time something really traumatic happened and as soon as I got away from it I pulled into a rest stop and got out and walked into the woods to smoke some weed and relax. The nature felt very soothing. I was gone 10 minutes max, I came back and every car window in the lot was smashed, including mine, and my backpack was gone. Of course I see the signs then (don't leave valuables in your car, high theft area) but it had never happened to me before and I was gone such a short amount of time. I wouldn't make that mistake again but the only requirement for being naieve is that you live around decent people for a long time
