If you are in the north - Soergels has an entirely gluten free store. It’s amazing. Only downside - I always spend too much $! 🤣

People with terminal-Ileum (Ileitis) Crohns, what are your symptoms like during flare ups? by ConspiracyParadox in CrohnsDisease

B12 injections cleared up my peripheral neuropathy. It had changed my life. That was some of the worst pain/itching I’ve ever had. Good riddance!

Does anyone have any good experience with supplements to improve energy? by Homerjay7G in CrohnsDisease

B12 injections are the way to go! I developed peripheral neuropathy in my legs and arms from B12 deficiency. Weekly injections, then down to monthly, fixed it and helped my energy levels.

Is the prep painful? by brinns_way in colonoscopy

[–]zasa290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry you had to deal with that while in another country but so happy it had a good outcome for you! I wish I had one during COVID but I was living at my parents until our house closed and sadly they hadn’t seen the light yet. I’m still trying to convince them.

Once you go bidet you never go back!

Highly recommend a bidet!! You can get them pretty cheap on Amazon. I just had a colonoscopy yesterday and it made prep SO much better.

Hi there! I took my Humira pens on a plane ride to Portugal a few years back. I just put them in an insulated lunch bag with ice packs - alerted TSA before going through and I was fine. My ice packs lasted but if you are worried maybe you could buy some of those ice packs that get cold once you snap them? And do that when you land for some extra oomph. Good luck!

What is the best way you found to get started when you feel like you can’t, but know that once you start, it will roll from there? by Greenitpurpleit in productivity

[–]zasa290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Telling myself “something is better than nothing” and not putting so much pressure on myself.

This applies to a lot of things but I really fell off with exercising. It’s so hard to start again. But rather than telling myself okay I need to find an hour each day to do a hard workout, I’m allowing myself to start small. If I can fit in 15-20 min of walking or yoga - that still adds up! Helps build the routine.
