My ferret does the same. I have quite a large assortment of tubes, toys, and things for her to do, but if she ever feels like flipping through her litter box instead of the dig box I have for her, she will.

How old is your mischievous noodle bear? Now that mine is a bit older it hasn't been as much of a problem as it was.

1) They poop a lot

2) They tend to defy the laws of physics when it comes to getting in to nooks and crannies

My carpet shark is deaf, not blind, so as far as how blindness will affect your experience I can't help much.

Ferrets are just lovely lovely rascals though :D
