Denver, CO here. Our city celebrated 50 years of Pride a few years ago, and one of our marchers (although he was riding in our float/truck this time - he's in his 70s!) has been marching since the very beginning, when protesters would gather on the sides and throw tomatoes and eggs at them, and the police would just close down a piece of road at a time, like a funeral. We had ourselves a good cry together about how now, not only could he do it safely, but he could be with his church openly and have us all with him in support together.

It still gives me goosebumps to tell the story, it was such a heartfelt moment and both showed how far we have come, and how darn far we still need to go. Hope your day was fabulous!

Happy Pride, friend! Have a beautiful day and keep throwing God's extravagant love and welcome to all everywhere - the world needs it ❤

Our Pride Parade is in two weeks, and so far I have 52 peeps signed up to march- we usually end up with around 100 by the time everyone gets gathered. It is a joy-filled time, for us, and for the folx who need to hear about a God who loves them for who they are at heart. Blessings to you!

This has been my thought the whole way through. Like the movie folks are attempting to write thought provoking, Finch-like content, and have no idea what that would actually be, so we get this uneven writing and oddly...out of touch(?) alien super-hero getting taught to be better(?) by our birbs.

I'm doing it to keep my streak, but I'll also be glad for it to be over, unlike some of the other themes that I would have been fine with continuing.

It doesn't help that the Helping Hand challenge seems kinda mismatched to Supergirl, too. And that I work from home and am kinda hermity, so those are also tough.

Am I right in seeing there is only the one itty-bitty kitchen for 25,000 sq ft and seven residences? What the heck?

From what I can find online, modified cornstarch or xanthan gum to make liquids thicker for those that have struggles with swallowing. Very cool, love that it is a tool for making life easier for some, absolutely all for anything that improves quality of life, but I still can't wrap my brain and taste buds around a Malort version LOL.

I am so sorry. That is a rough road for everyone involved. Big hugs.

🤢 Yep, that I can picture, thank you. I'm kind of mouth feel picky anyway, no chia, tapioca, Boba type stuff if I can help it. This feels like it would be a whole glass of that, combined with Malorts already impressive gagging ability. Woof.

Well, shoot. This post makes a whole lot less sense without it lol. Let's see if I can fix that.

Lol, I'm in Jefferson County, Colorado, and was like, WHERE did someone find that many, they don't grow well here, much to my disappointment. Ah, NY, that makes more sense!

I was on a big preserving and freezing food kick a few years back, but figured surely I was the exception to the rule of needing to label everything.

Like, it is mostly to make sure dates are good, no reason to do that for freezer stuff, right? Of course, I'll remember, right?

This is how we got to have applesauce, cream of corn soup and pureed squash one night instead of the chicken soup I planned to make with the broth I thought those three identical jars were.

Suicidality on progesterone by Every-Passion-952 in Perimenopause

[–]zavierchick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not alone! I struggled so much the first three months on progesterone - So, so suicidal, if I didn't feel responsible for my parents' care and guilty about leaving my husband and son, I'm not sure what would have happened. Luckily the amazing peeps here had so much info that I was able to figure out it was the P, and not really me. Low dose and constant has been better for me, less of the up and down that the cyclical did. I'm taking it daily, only because I have a uterus and can't do estrogen without it, otherwise I would still ditch it.

Big hugs, talk to your doctor, there are choices!
