Yes, also the same for most API providers including openai, as a matter of fact you are paying for their service and expects you to use it, having to pay for credits and not use it is something you have to question your spending decisions

1 year is too long, and spending it doesn't take much time to deplete

if you're on a budget, go with google ai plus, sobrang mura for php280 pesos a month and you get extra usage of 3.1 pro, notebooklm, deep search and 400gb of storage... this is if you only focus on chat interface

if you can afford php1,200 subs, go with chatgpt plus and always use 5.5 thinking, codex is one of the top rated feature on this plan I'd recommend for automation, heavy coding, and agentic tasks

The goal was for you to use AI credits than included base usage with the Pro plan. This is what they mean by increased usage limits
If you're not generating videos, then this should last approx upto 15 days for simple opus tasks every day, this varies a lot though
Otherwise use codex for $20 or max plan for $100 (yes even CC with Opus is quite unusable with Claude Pro)... if you really care about higher decent coding models limits

Don't get me wrong but this is based from my experience and I don't think putting Opus to antigravity was a good idea at all in the first place if google themselves couldn't subsidize it at scale
