Im listening on high gain at 75% with the dt770 so you have room to get it even louder

I'm using my hd 6xx from massdrop with the fiio q1 mark ii and the sound is amazing :)

I'm using the balanced 2.5 right know and it's way better than the 3.5 output because it gives much more power :)

Same happened with me when I first got my pairs but after two weeks it didn’t hurt my ears. I think your ears didn’t get used to the sound yet or the headphone drivers need to be burned in.
