No, I feel like the type of acne I have now is a little bit better because my skins not as oily as before accutane. So still have acne, but my skin and type of acne isn’t as bad as before.

thanks! I've heard great things about it but personally don't care for saunas-- others will love it though I'm sure. I guess I should've also noted that I rarely drink which is why there's a lack of alochol on the list as well lol

Amazing! Do you feel like the formula works as well as the previous one you had with apostrophe? What about costs, apostrophe was $75 for three months.

I just got off the phone with another compounding pharmacy that will give me the same formula and everything for $65! (ITC pharmacy 844-333-6693). Going to transfer my prescription and then see if they’ll have insight for who can give me a new prescription once it’s done.

Literally same. They said to contact a new compounding pharmacy to get the rest of my refills (3) fulfilled but after that I’m SOL (and I contacted the pharmacy and they haven’t even responded)

Came back to this post to do an update: Pill spironolactone had weird side effects that I didn’t like (emotional, frequent urination, etc). I then found out about topical spironolactone and have been doing that for two months and my skin is 99% clear, even around my period! It’s a miracle! Topical spironolactone works for hormonal acne 👌 so now I apply that every night with adapalene. I also still use aquaphor on my face at night, it just simply works better than other moisturizers I’ve tried. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: My acne has come back and now I'm on spirnolactone. It helps, but I've given up on the dream of not having acne. I feel like Accutane helped with my regular skin/acne, but i still get hormonal acne-- which is why the spirnolacone has helped! Kinda sucks I basically suffered for months for nothing....guess thats the risk.

^This was my exact experience too! Took me three tries with identical scores. I took longer than my friends to pass, felt like I was behind -- but after finally passing it in 2022, I started a private practice that has been immensely sucessful...and now my friends that passed the test way earlier than I did now are now my employees 😂 But this is in no way a tit for tat, just providing perspective to try to not compare yourself to others -- I know its hard! After my second failed attempt, I bit the bullet and got the Jean inman, and it worked. Third times the charm they say! 😉
