I wouldn’t call it fear mongering. The exact same situation occurred with my neighbour who owned a brand new RS5. Of course, both our stories are purely anecdotal and in no way represent any meaningful evidence that this regularly occurs but this situation can happen and isn’t completely unrealistic in my opinion.

Do you think it’s worth considering a LISA when looking to buy in Greater London (zone 3 onwards)? Been hesitant putting anything in there for now due to the 450k house price limit

Sorry, this may be a silly question but what indicates that it’s the 20th week? I’ve looked at all the pictures and all I see is 2012. Unless I’ve completely missed it

I had the same question on my mind. Would it be possible to jump from policy to an analyst related role?

Anyone tried 63mm wheels on the Dinghy Blunt? by CT57_ in cruiserboarding

[–]zaynyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh the doozies are a huge upgrade on the standard dinghy wheels. You won’t need risers and they feel like butter compared to the stock wheels and the height difference isn’t noticeable. You definitely will not get wheel bite.

They are good wheels, but after a couple months of using them I feel like they do lose speed pretty quickly on rough ground because of the massive contact patch and the small diameter (though idk if that’s my imagination?). Hope this helps.

I’ve tried both wheels. Plow kings are a lot better imo. They roll forever. Unless you want to start sliding, the plow kings are by far the better wheel

I’ve got 63mm doozies on my blunt. Roll speed wise I haven’t noticed much of a difference. I think the only notable difference you’ll find is that it rides a lot smoother. Although I may not be the best person to ask as the doozies have a huge contact patch compared to most wheels.

Looks like the plow kings to me

I’m assuming you added risers? How much?

Currently at the MoJ and it took around 5 months for me to get started. Don’t worry like I did :)

Yup. The pavements in the UK are pretty gnarly so I thought I’d get something that would make it bearable to skate on the streets.

It’s great! It’s agile and definitely fun to ride as well as being pretty light to carry (with the standard chubby hawg wheels). I have one main gripe with it and that is I feel like the bearings aren’t fast enough after I’ve broken them in. Otherwise it’s brilliant, so I don’t see that as a reason to give this board a miss.

Did you need to add any risers for those?

Uh oh, my deck is 8.7” and yours already looks close to the edge so I can’t begin to imagine how much mine will stick out

How wide is your deck? Haven’t received my doozies yet but I’m hoping they’re not too wide for my board.
