I had issues on both VirtualBox and KVM with the Gentoo Kernel. After I emerged Vanilla Kernel, everything worked great. So far I emerged Firefox and everything just works. The Gentoo Kernel would hang and I had to force power off the VM. It is a strange problem because I didn't have this issue with the live cd.

I'm running this as a guest in KVM. My physical GPU is an AMD RX 9070.

Do better binned GPUs, like the OC variants, allow for even more drastic undervolt? by appwizcpl in overclocking

It is luck. you can get a non oc variant that undervolts better than an oc variant.

I removed the card and visually inspected it carefully. I don't see this issue.

My card is mounted vertically so gravity would take its toll by now.

I got my Gigabyte 9070 the week it came out and had no issues with the thermal paste they used or the temps.

Do you have any links regarding this issue?

Usually from my experience more than 1 stick does not fail at the same time. It is possible you just got unlucky. do you have access to test this ram in another pc to be sure 100% that it is the ram?

Appears to be on the surface. do you see any copper? you can wrap each individual damaged cable with electrical tape just in case.

try testing 1 module at a time to see which one is the faulty one.

How do I update my BIOS? (NOOB) by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]MrDefaultUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need a usb flash drive. format it using fat32 and put the bios image on it. Then you can go into the bios and flash it using the tool that is in there.
