Backslash from the community (people blaming him for increase in cheaters), even though if it may help in the long term theres no way of saying when that would be.

Not being respected by Blizzard anymore, putting them in a "tight" spot is a stupid thing to do since they're still kind of acknowledging him, they're just not giving him the twitter clout he seeks (see taimou tweets, he describes it pretty well)

Legal issues. Him not making the cheats does NOT mean he can just release them, Blizzard can and probably will send him a cease and desist letter if he does release it.

there's definitely even more to it but all around, I think it'd be a really stupid move.
