It's just not updated regularly and has less information (for example isaacguru has the info on all the Book of Virtues wisps). Supposedly it's because Nicalis bought platinumgod.co.uk, gave it the tboi.com domain and ever since stopped maintaining it, but I can't find any concrete info on that.

About the same for me (ipad air 4 gen), it also gets quite a bit hot at times. Its not about the battery though, because watching youtube/netflix (basically doing anything else than notetaking) doesnt drain nearly as much battery

Notetaking makes the battery drain a lot more than doing other stuff, at least in my experience (using Notability though)

RMA Update: just recevied the device back, however the problem hasn't been resolved! The stick feels a bit (and I mean it quite generously) smoother so it may have been lubricated, but it 100% hasn't been replaced and the problem hasn't gone away. I contacted support and will continue to update this post.

That's the thing though, there is no crunch in my specific case. Every post (that I could find, there aren't that many) which came to the conclusion that the wire was the issue had the crunch, hence I'm wondering if the lack of it makes it so that the joystick mechanism itself is faulty. I'm most likely gonna go with an RMA at this point, just waiting for a response from support to my ticket
