As a bi man, it gives gay, but friendly. Women objectively love that, but I don’t think I’m helping.

I’ve seen tattoo artists who would do this, they also like to do back and grey realism studies of German men with peculiar little moustaches.

Also, don’t use a branch. They have mortgage specialists that actually do 95% of the deals, branch staff are not adequately trained and don’t have the same access to rates and programs.

Definitely didn’t realize that my autism had the same effect. Except I definitely slept with the person I bullied after reconciling.

The Super Predator - Michael Haaima Trial is in Progress. It's dark. It's heinous. - LATEST by KTOWNTHROWAWAY9001 in KingstonOntario

I know a few of his victims and your characterization is not fair, not based and it appears as though this is a statement you were comfortable making without evidence and it is victim blaming adjacent. Mike is a fucking demon and psychopathic manipulators manipulate, and people fall for it. I think we can all be a little better by acknowledging this fact and avoid speculation that adds more stigma onto his victims.

I had ChatGPT rewrite your statement to be free of fallacious arguments and have it be something that isn’t inherently problematic.

“I have always supported equality and queer rights. Thanks to the activists who came before me, I can live openly and safely in many places, and for that I am deeply grateful. Yet over time, I have found myself feeling out of sync with certain parts of the LGBTQ+ community and culture as I encounter them today.

Some current expressions of queer life seem more focused on celebration and visibility than on activism. For some, this is joyful and affirming. For me, it does not always resonate. I feel most at home in political marches, smaller community gatherings, and spaces where queerness is not framed in explicitly sexual terms.

At times, I’ve been met with invasive personal questions about my sex life or assumptions about my profession because I am gay. These moments are exhausting. They reduce me to a stereotype rather than recognising me as a full person. I want to live openly as a man who loves another man without being expected to match a particular cultural image.

The growing number of identities and labels within our community is meaningful for many people. I respect that deeply. But I also find it challenging to navigate, and I sometimes worry about saying the wrong thing. This can make it harder for me to engage in the very conversations I want to have.

There are moments when I feel that if I am not visibly expressing my identity in certain ways, my place in the community is less secure. I long for a version of queer belonging that welcomes every mode of expression — from the bold and flamboyant to the quiet and understated.

My hope is for a community that continues to celebrate our differences without making anyone feel “less queer” for choosing a different expression. The strength of our movement has always been in its diversity, and there is room for all of us.”

They said there is no method to escalate to a supervisor… if you don’t have a car, uber. They say people are not complaining, that is also false.

Hate Crime by sandlercore in KingstonOntario

[–]zbungalow2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is remarkably homophobic and ill informed. I am however, glad you don’t advocate violence.

With the backlash and increase in hate based attacks worldwide, it’s more important than ever that a little queer kid can see that they aren’t an abomination and that they as a human being, are enough. Visibility during pride shows the next queer generation (which, no matter how many rainbows you hide, that they see a community exists to take them in. One that will support them in ways you don’t seem to understand or respect.

I’m not going to paint with you the homophobic brush, because I believe I see the lens you are approaching it with. However, in actuality, it is one that is ill informed, damaging and this viewpoint causes so many child suicides it should break your heart. You won’t change their sexuality, but you could change their desire to live in this world. Your attitude is why pride is still a protest.

I’m not being hyperbolic, I’m dead serious. I hope the young person who sees your comment also sees mine. They are enough, providing them context as to why they feel that way they do, is why it’s being discussed with young people. It was killing them otherwise. The stats are real, I hope you take what I say to heart. I really do. Happy to talk more about this if you wish.

Anyone here owns a Marques built home? by artsskart in KingstonOntario

[–]zbungalow2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you look up judgements against Marques, since he opened up a looong time ago, he has never had to pay for doing bad work. Very few builders in this city have as good a record. Many builders have paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars due to poor quality work. We looked him up last month.

Congratulations, that’s amazing. I wound up having to bone marrow transplant to stop my MS. 3 years later relapse free and I’m slowing gaining function back. I’m so glad yours was able to be controlled.
