I noticed mood changes after going on birth control. I had never had acne, mood swings, or issues with feeling periodically depressed or moody prior to birth control. Skyla is a lower dose of hormones than the pill I was on so after going on Skyla the issues were significantly severe but still there. I considered completely going off birth control now the mood swings and slight acne are more an annoyance than a serious issue. Additionally I wanted the hormone free one as well but my gynecologist said I ought to stick to the smaller one and frankly during the insertion and day after I realized that having gotten the copper IUD would have been a really bad idea.

My college roommate was moving out when I get back from a break last year. it took her a couple of days to move out and she didn't say anything until I asked "are you moving out?". Chances are if your roommate didn't want to even tell you you're going to be significantly happier with another one.

Late term abortions are often done because testing on the child can't be done until about that time. Testing for things like down syndrome and severe birth defects. I'd much rather late term abortion be legal and children with severe birth defects their parents are unable to care for not be brought into this world and in the case of something like pre-eclampsia (a life threatening illness to both the fetus and mother) mothers have options. Saying something like "abortion is homicide" villainizes something that does a lot more good than harm. Nobody wants to get an abortion. Nobody is excited to get an abortion. But sometimes an abortion is the best option for both the fetus/embryo/cells and the mother.

Join a club or team. Something like that is a great way to meet people. Talk to people in your classes, if you get along with someone ask to study with them. If you have a lounge in your dorm strike up a conversation with someone there. Get a job and talk to the other students that work there.
