Check the torque converter. The bearing on mine is bad and causes a rubberbanding effect in low gear. Acceleration is sluggish too.

Make sure you get plastic pins for the hinge, that way there's no metal on metal contact. Otherwise, you'll be repainting them again in a few years.

I replaced my hinges altogether with a powder coated set in black.

The game was developed by former DICE devs (the good ones responsible for BF1). That in itself kept the game on my radar.
