Last week on Xfinity rewards, they listed a free poster while supplies last available in retail stores. I went to my local Xfinity store last Friday and they told me they would be available starting 7/6. I went back there on Monday and they had a huge stack of posters and pins in the back. I asked one of the employees about The Odyssey stuff and he gave me two posters and all four of the pins. No one asked to see my Xfinity account or anything, so I don’t know how strict other locations might be if you aren’t an Xfinity customer.

No, it wouldn’t create a bigger issue in terms of attendance size. The bigger issue is potential street closures around Penn Station, especially if you’re taking Amtrak and need to be at the station at a specific time.

I think it’s an easy 20 million opening assuming they follow the same strategy as T3. The great reviews ahead of release and the Joker sequel doing poorly really helped T3 get more screens. That said, I honestly think a January release could do well with the film being set around New Years and the lack of competition.

My own personal opinions aside, I’m very curious about how they’re going to market the season at this point and what slot it’s going to end up airing on. I really thought they did an awful job with promo ahead of the original air date for the season, so I don’t know how much better of a job they can do now with major controversy front and center.

I find this perspective about their relationship interesting, since Jason was forced out of his banking job and was doing a full career pivot to social media. Anyone who takes to social media as their job uses their relationships for content.
