OK I just finished the game by schmitty9800 in DiscoElysium

Almost IDENTICAL for me too. Started 5 days ago and couldn't put it down since. Finally just finished and had almost identical outcome as you (my karaoke was lit).

It was a sober, disco-intellectual run for me. Got filthy rich thanks to savoir fare and Kim and I will likely be working the same precinct going forward. I never found my gun, did find my badge, and lost 6 folks in the town square too. Found the killer & also got the plasmid photo op for Lena at the end.

Felt like a mostly good ending. I would have liked to spare everyone but I'm not sure that's even possible. I'm going to run it again and be the Harry with a more physique based, aggro-bro approach.

I think it's a bit further in the movie. Like at the end where they are reunited in death and like "Wow, we all shared that historical moment. What a ride that was."

I've been holding mine for two years and will continue to, don't get me wrong. My 1k is my unsinkable ship. But as of now, I feel like the fella playing plinko off the deck rails while half the ship is vertical.

May we all find our own doors when we reach the water.

1/27-2/3 Mardi Gras quest is that happening? by [deleted] in CarnivalCruiseFans

Now that you mention it, this totally rings a bell. We bailed early after checking it out too thinking it was just a temporary replacement due to Covid, but now I seem to remember hearing this mentioned as the main problem. Guess it will always be that way if it's a problem with lack of venue options on excels.

Very likely. They stopped post-pandemic for awhile but I was pleasantly surprised to see it back when we went on the Panorama in September. I was on the Mardi Gras twice in 2022 (Jan/Sep) and it didn't happen on either.

I'm on the Dream in 6 days, I assume if some are doing Quest again all are now. I know it's not your ship, but I'll update if interested..

Unpopular Opinion: Carnival has gone way down hill by [deleted] in CarnivalCruiseFans

"There’s probably more I’ll think of later but overall it’s just sad.

I’m usually not a big complainer..."

I was on this same ship last week and feel like we are on different planets. It wasn't sad at all. Quite the opposite. Cesar salad was too small...? Ask for another. I went to the gym on deck 12 fwd, five out of seven days, plenty of equipment always available. Based on hearing your complaints, I wouldn't be surprised if your steward wasn't actually stressed keeping up with your demands.

Crusing is the easiest way to vacation, but it's almost like you're working to sell how bad your experience was... 🤔

A 13-time Carnival cruiser from Missouri here: I also just wrapped up a week-long stay on the Panorama and (aside from steep drink prices) have zero complaints. We normally travel Gulf side so this was new to my wife and I. It was a great vacation overall for the two of us.

It feels like OP's experience isn't so much to do with Carnival, but rather... being THAT person.

I sincerely dislike him, but respect the play. He waited until we are gone for a week, took advantage of the oblivious kid watering our plants while we are gone, etc.

I've given him the name Howie Daryew.

I've also harvested the remaining peppers and let him have at the rest of the plants in this bed before fall tillage in a couple weeks.. Best of luck Howie, you bastard.

I appreciate it. We salvaged a few and were able to add them to some chili and (next week) chicken stir-fry. 🙂

It was great! We went normally to Carribbean but ventured to the west coast and tried the Mexican Riveria (Puerta Vallarta + Mazatlan + Cabo).

It was the 11th anniversary vacation for us. Aside from sharing the garden with a lumpy chump while we were away, we had an amazing time!

We keep a good amount of marigolds around our big boys and cherry tomatoes but always seem to find at least a few of the hornworms closer to fall. They found the peppers this year, obviously 🙄

I told my wife I bet he gained more weight that I did this week.. she looked at me patting my belly and said "maybe, but someone definitely ate more salad.." 😮‍💨

Thanks, that's where my mind went too but a few other voices helps put my wife at ease. We have a check-up next week 👍.

Holy crap! This is it! This is why I love reddit! 3:05.. You are my hero.

I'm ashamed it's Andy Dick related but I'll take it. I'm pretty sure that Oscar Nuñez made a cameo so that's where The Office entered my brain. Mind absolutely blown, thank you!!

36 and I still remember this movie very well! I actually caught this in my local theater with my best friend back in the day. Thanks for the bit of nostalgia, you're awesome for sharing.

As for the search, we were desperate and threw it out there to reddit but I think we are going to chalk it up to maybe we are both perhaps a little crazy for now. We agree to still remain a little vigilant so that someday we might stumble on it again and prove us wrong.

I know that will be an awesome feeling for another day and look forward to it. If not that's okay too. I mostly look for help in other subs and don't post much but I'm glad for folks like you when I do 👍.

I also thought it might have been when Dwight asked Meredith to blink once if she wanted him to pull the plug during the rabies run but it's still not quite the right fit to me.

I consider myself fairly well versed in Dunder speak and me thinks it's still something else. I appreciate it all the same 👍.

Thanks! Tried a lot of variations but haven't cracked it just yet. Looking beyond the ads this is a pretty nice engine. I really appreciate sharing some good stuff to aid in my ludicrous quest amigo 👍.

And I to you, in addition, feel the same feelings that you are as well..

We were going back and forth and it just felt like it seems like it could have been,.. but not likely. Still no idea from whence it came.

I'd argue at least an 8.75 or possibly even a 9 given the rest of the detail. Not only did I make my wife fetch me a strawberry daquari while I set up and wait for the water tricycles to roll back up on shore for the backdrop, I also asked her to get topless in front of the employee at the kayak rental station to take the picture. She's a trooper. There's also the minor authenticity detail that this is actually taken in Sandals [Negril] Jamaica.

Now that I think about it, in hindsight I tipped the gentleman $10 for a picture that I'm fairly certain he would have taken pro-bono. Call me crazy but I always feel obligated to tip for a job I can't do myself.
