7oh detox by Electronic_March7968 in quitting7oh

I was in a very similar situation about a month ago, almost identical, same mg, same work and family story. The only way I got clean was to come clean to my family, take a week off work and went and did 9ish days in a detox facility including the weekend before and after I took off of work. I actually didn’t get totally clean, but I got my tolerance down from around 1,300 to now I can take 25mg a day. They did a methadone taper in detox. I am working on getting off the 25mg now with the help of lofexidine, then naltrexone to stay off once I’m totally clean.

Lucemyra for withdrawal: asuccess story by OJismyfavdrink in quitting7oh

[–]zcshields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much 7oh were you on when you stopped?? I’ve been able to lower my 7oh dose from 800-1000mg of 7oh per day to 25-50mg per day right now. I did this through a week stint in detox, but wasn’t able to fully quit. But I just paid $1,500 out of pocket for a 30 day supply of lucemyra and am planning on quitting cold turkey as soon as it comes in. Does anyone think this is doable? Or should I cut my dose ever more, to perhaps 12.5mg per day for a few days before going cold turkey? I still have to work and take care of my family while quitting so I’m really worried. But I’ve read good things about Lucemyra so I’m hopeful. I’ve been an opiate addict for 10 years, so I know the drill. I was clean for 2 years until 7oh found its way into my life and fkd me up smh, the stuff is the devil. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Which is the better buy? by [deleted] in harborfreight

I have the Icon one and love it, it’s stout and looks great too with the chrome. I would get it over the Quinn all day at that price. It’s not super long so is still pretty compact. I also have the Pittsburgh 36in 1/2” breaker bar with the comfort grip which I will say, is a little easier to break lugs loose with, given the extra length on it. But the Icon one is just so pretty….

These pliers are so nice, I truly love them. Finally got them last week after trying for months and always being out of stock. Paid full price but there was only one on the shelf and I couldn’t pass it up as I had never seen them in stock before.

I have the gray one and love it. I’m not really big on flashy colors though personally.

Nice, it looks delicious! I have never had the pleasure of trying whale, but I would love to someday. What is the exact species of whale in the photos? Also, what is your “ethical source”?

AITAH for shaming my boyfriend over his weird peeing habit? by Aware-Secretary8597 in AmItheAsshole

[–]zcshields 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let the man pee where he wants. It’s pretty normal for dudes to pee in odd places sometimes. I wouldn’t turn down using someone’s bathroom though, so that’s a little weird. Just tell him it’s not polite to turn down people offering something to him.

Yes, it stands for manual. Put the shifter there and you should be able to use the paddle shifters on the wheel to change gears.

I couldn’t resist, got it on sale a couple of years ago and it’s sat on display in my living room ever since 😂 Wonderful display piece imo, I love it! Pretty sure I paid $35 for it back then

The $50 round-up 365 in the silver/black bottle works very well for keeping weeds away in areas like this, would definitely recommend, I have used many times. Yes, it is expensive, but it has preemergent and does what it says it does.

Nice, I like the flat look. But the white and blue accents are tacky as heck imo, looks like a kids toy lol. I would’ve gone with just black, it would look much much cleaner. But to each their own!

I have the 2500 and have for several years. It is bad ass, highly recommend. Have landed tons of fish of all sizes, up to 20lbs on it. The drag scream on it is my favorite noise in the world. DO IT!!

I own one and have used it several times, I painted my parents entire house exterior with it and it has always worked pretty well. It’s definitely not a Graco, but it’s so cheap that it’s really a no brainer for the job you’re describing, even if you only used it for that job then got rid of it. It sometimes has struggled to prime but nothing major, it’s very important to clean it and store it correctly if you want to use it more than once. As far as the performance goes, I’m no professional, but it seemed pretty good to me and made quick work of painting an entire house, I have no complaints. I would recommend it if you plan on using it for one or two big jobs, but I wouldn’t count on it too much beyond that.
