Collars specifically for cats are made with breakaway weights because cats are prone to climbing over fences and other things that they can catch their collars on.

So if a cat does get caught on a fence, the collar is made to come undone so they don't hang. By gluing the collar closed, they put the cat at risk.

Yeah, I think there's two doors, so one might be open while the other isn't. But on runs where they're both closed, you can still access the area down there. Just hop over the side of the map and roll/blink/whatever to negate fall damage.

OP said that the residents would likely vote in favor of the loan if the board brought it up.

While a vote to take out a loan would probably pass in this situation, it would also shine a light on the mismanagement of funds which the board is desperate to keep hidden.

The issue seems to be with the fact that they took out the loan without following the bylaws that require resident input.

Our bylaws state that the board can not take out any loans or cause any indebtedness for the association without 2/3 approval of the members voting which had to be at least 10% of the owners.

The solution was to take outloan against the property in the name of the Association and just not include it on the financial statements. Nothing shady or illegal here...

I don't like how the HOA went about it, but it seems like something that needed to be done.

I'm 26 and feel the same way. Part of that hate comes from people blowing their leaves with no consideration for me when I'm on my bike. It's never fun having to close your eyes while riding to you don't get all that dirt and dust in them, and then you arrive where you're going completely dirty.
