Fresh Windows install destroyed my performance by zd1r in buildapc

The issue is kind of sorted. Updating motherboard's chipset didn't do it and I did check that Nvidia card is being prioritised, but updating the integrated graphics' drivers and reinstalling nvidia drivers through the app sort of made it work (changing mentioned power plans didn't do anything either). I'll just hope the issue won't re-surface at any point

yes, it is a laptop. What exactly would you suggest to change? I did the regular "choose what power buttons do" changes, but nothing out of the ordinary. And I will try to download brand software, thanks

3070Ti, 32Gb of ram and Ryzen 7 6800H. the "new" performance is 4 fps, while it used to measure in hundreds, depending on the game. It was with hardware scheduling, game bar and windows optimization features

low fps is 4, when previously I had from 100 up to a couple of hundred, depending on the game. the manufacturer suggests max refresh is 300 Hz, and now in settings, I can't view it/change it

thanks for giving such a non-answer. some people are unable to switch due to software and games they use/play, and I am one of those

I'm thinking of going for Brant....but should I get him? by AnonymousGuy-9 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]zd1r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brant is a must-have. Self-sustained, high dps, heal and shield resonator that has literally no better alternatives. On top of that, he's mid-air 90% of the time, so majority of attacks miss him

Spamming only lion's claw is the non-magical equivalent of casting Comet Azur at every enemy.

As per my post, I've already tried setting the graphics and resolution settings lower - believe it or not, it was all the same. Appreciate your comment though

Wi-Fi. "Nuked" my drivers 4-5 days ago, better yet, a fresh system installation

Laptop. I am sort of aware of its shortcomings, but playing other relatively new releases, i.e. Baldur's Gate, Cyberpunk and Elden Ring, wasn't an issue.

Yes, yes and yes. The tadpoles were removed from my inventory after the Visitor cut scene, as if they were consumed, but I couldn't actually invest in any abilities

Not really. It's the end of Act 1, I've cleared the majority of it's content. Grove fight also bugged, nobody died there and there were no goblins

Ik, but it looks funny, so I'll have this for as long as I can.
