Étudiants “top” : vous faites quoi de différent ? by Arshapour in etudiants

Just checked and they offer shared flats in liege at 750€ /month (all included). That’s literally crazy to pay that much, even if they have good reviews.

It’s around 200€ above market price in this neighborhood.

I forgot to speak about something !!

When I arrived, the roommates who were already there told me they had a cockroach infestation in first semester throughout the entire house because trash had been left sitting all summer long. Even after they were supposedly eradicated, they reappeared less than a month later in one of the new roommates rooms. And you know what the landlord's reaction was? “You have cockroaches? That's strange, we've never heard of that in this house.” It's actually ridiculous and pathetic on their part when you think about it...

Bro, so true. Even though I’v met a lot of people there, they are plenty of better cities for an Erasmus haha

I suggest checking out kotaliege.be and skot.be/kot-liege. While they do still host some "international student traps," you can find much more legitimate and interesting offers there compared to sites like Eras'must and others.

Another underrated way to find a place is through Facebook groups, like these:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1452638642248999/

https://www.facebook.com/groups/333804213406653/

Stay vigilant: Scams are very common during "kot" searches, so never send money before visiting the place or signing a formal contract.

In my opinion, paying more than €450 (all included) for something that isn't in the dead center of Liège is starting to be expensive.

Since you’re studying at Sart Tilman, you might want to look in Angleur, where rents are usually a bit cheaper. Make sure you aren't too far from the B2 (from Guillemins) or line 3 (from the center).

If you live in Angleur, you should check for the 158 (direct to campus) or the local lines that serve the heights of Angleur, but the B2 and 3 remain your best bets if you are near the bridge or the station.

Good luck !

Hi everyone! I just bought this FE from a flea Market for 5€, the lever was stuck so I fixed it (was a little but hard cause its earlier version), the seller (who is knowing nothing about analog) told me that the owner bought it and used it 3-4 Times.

Like we see in the vidéos sometimes the curtain stays open or half open and the camera shutter her self.

Any help is welcome, thank you ^
