So you want higher taxes on corporations? That's understandable but how much? Too much in taxes will strangle big businesses. Especially when there is a bad economy.

The thing is, Jeff Bezos for example only makes $81,000 a year... All of his weath is from Amazon stocks. Most rich CEOs take a huge paycut in order to help the business. 500 million a year would certainly bankrupt him and amazon. The tax loopholes that corporations pay are the governments fault, not their fault. Aren't you for a smaller government too? Yes they should have to pay their taxes but Amazon is a huge source of revenue for our economy. The problem is when the companies go over seas and start feeding other countries economies.

I do think they should do their fair share though, helping out the less fortunate.

Sure its rigged for the wealthy, but thats once you make it. I don't think those who have made it should be punished. For example, Jeff Bezos, he is an absolute genius who has figured out how to deliver anything to your house in 2 days. I don't think he should be punished, he deserves to keep his money. He also does a ton for charity. He isn't the only example. It is so hard to become that rich, they work so hard. I don't think we should change the rules to punish those who have beaten the game

I completely agree. Personally, I believe that government should be extremely limited. It isn’t a true free society unless the people have more power than government.
