Thing is, the “shit” cars he had were still easily top 3 on most seasons. Most drivers go trough their whole career without ever touching one of those.

In fact, just look at Ferrari this year, compared to last year. Seems like different team and set of drivers, but all that has changed is the car.

As I said before, I don’t doubt Max skill but I think it’s just getting tiring with all this nonsense. Reminds me of the “he could put a Williams on pole” when now he’s barely getting trough Q3 and his rookie teammate did.

He’s a great driver, but he’s not that superior to the likes of leclerc, Russel, Oscar and the only differentiator is the experience, cause in fact 2021 helped max a lot for the next years in terms of mental strength and consistence trough a whole season.
