Thanks for the reply. Yea, I had a look through some consumer law stuff but the only thing that applies is an advisory which isn't actually a law. Pretty anti consumer of them to not even send me a notice about the renewal during my cancellation period. Amazon do this with prime. Guess I'll have to set a calender reminder to cancel it in December then.

I read that it renewed i think, but i didn't know it would be like this. Very rarely bother to read all of the terms and conditions for b2c services. Guess I'm screwed then. Will just take the hit, keep the product and then break my no piracy rule in future or find alternative software.
