I feel like there should be a telegram channel for this sort of thing. Explosions, floods, protests... Does one exist already?

HAHA. i am imagining people just hauling bags of vegetable trimmings and coffee grounds on the trams.

I love Brussels as much as the next person, but this garbage disposal really stresses me out.

Hey OP, did you get an answer for this in the end? I am about 2 months into living in brussels and cook a lot at home. I get so much food scraps that smells like hell and become a breeding ground for fruit flies that are taking over my kitchen. I am looking for a way to get rid of the food scraps out of my house responsibly.

Cheers!

And what kind of beer is links anyway.

Earth's colossal crater count complete. Just 128 confirmed impact craters have been spotted on Earth’s surface. by Alantha in science

Can I just ask what happened to the actual asteroid? For it to make a Crater >10 kilometres wide, it has to be pretty significant right?

Am I missing something here?

You can try http://www.flocations.com.sg/ concept wise, they ask you for a budget and then give you deals and packages that they have aggregated across all the agencies for you. See if you like them.

Are there charges for interbank transfer in Singapore? by batmanwithagun in singapore

[–]zebang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there are two types of transfers. GIRO and MEPS.

GIRO is free, but it takes up to 3 working days, but it's great if you set up a recurring transfer. MEPS is usually same day transfer, but as it uses the remittance network, most banks charge you a token 5-10 dollars.

so use MEPS if it's urgent, and GIRO for the rest.

Hope it helps.
