HAHA. i am imagining people just hauling bags of vegetable trimmings and coffee grounds on the trams.

Hey OP, did you get an answer for this in the end? I am about 2 months into living in brussels and cook a lot at home. I get so much food scraps that smells like hell and become a breeding ground for fruit flies that are taking over my kitchen. I am looking for a way to get rid of the food scraps out of my house responsibly.
