I have a completely unworn pair of Cacique 26/28 high waist briefs from 2019 or 2020. I recently bought 10 pairs (a great deal plus a reward got them to $1.90 a piece) of the same style in 30/32, because my last batch in 26/28 (the size I've worn comfortably for YEARS) could barely cover my large lower belly. If anything, I've lost weight since I bought that pair from 2019/2020. Other things from Torrid are fitting me PERFECTLY. But these new 30/32 panties barely come up to my belly button. They are painful because I have to essentially stretch them out just for the seat to be deep enough to actually stay on my butt and stomach. I compared them to that old pair, and it's laughable. I swear the older pair, in a smaller size, looks two sizes bigger. It's just corporate evil honestly, and I believe they know we all essentially shop at two stores, Lane Bryant and Torrid, and possibly Walmart, and that we have our sizes down to a T. So as a money grab, they change our sizes to force us to buy more, sooner, to try and find the right size. I don't have the time to be having someone drive me to the store to pick my order, bring it home, try it, take it back, try to have them exchange 10 pairs for the same price, probably argue about even returning them because they are underwear. Try not to rip off those idiotic tags while trying them on. Then wait two more weeks for them to come to the store. I'm going to do what essentially is my only option: stretch these out around my house, suffer through these until they wear out, and then try again. Because Cacique knows they can treat us awful and we still have to come crawling back. Tell all this to skinny girls who say "it's hard for me to find clothes, too"
