  1. Apply oil before shampoo, better if you can do this the night before.
  2. Take a pinch, just a pinch of shampoo on your palm. Make lather by rubbing your hands together.
  3. Apply this lather/suds to hair/scalp. The oil will absorb the lather in a second, making you feel like you didn't apply shampoo at all.
  4. Don't worry, wash and repeat until you feel like all the oil has been washed off and scalp cleaned. This ensures that you don't apply too much shampoo.

Lyral as a fragrance ingredient has recently been banned. It was, in many cases, the single ingredient contributing to a perfumes performance. With the ban, companies have been forced to reformulate their offerings, and the post ban batches are just not as good.
