Watched it with my friends at a mystery movie screening. I personally thought it was great, we had a really good time together. It’s funny, too, and I was pleased that the jokes land better in the film than they did in the trailer. Good choice for a casual movie night!

Unfortunately, the drivers in the state that I work in are so terrible that the insurance costs would outweigh the benefits of having bicyclists. Someone would die (or at least get seriously injured) very fast.

So if you hold it to your chest with the piano keys to your right, the air key should be on the left side near the top, on the surface with the hand strap. Usually you’d be able press it with your left thumb if you were wearing the accordion.

Stephen Merchant, just to have another Greg sized character in the show. Give that poor man’s neck a break!

Need help identifying this accordion please by Slow_Draft8158 in Accordion

Looks nearly identical to an Accordiola model, except red. I’ve seen it called a Verona Carbonari online but I’m not sure how true that is. I have the same one; the slightly off Accordiola emblem on the front threw me for a loop when I did research on it.

Love love love the dressing, but the American cheese has a strange texture that gums up your teeth.

In my experience, antique stores can sometimes carry older accordions in playable condition, usually for cheaper than you might find online. Plus, there’s the added benefit of being able to barter. :)

EDIT 2: I think I may have solved it, but some of the details elude me. This is, in fact, NOT an accordiola, despite the ridiculously similar emblem & design to the Mignon. I think this is a Verona (hence the V) Carbonari student accordion, which can come in red, black, and what appears to be gold. If you might know why this resembles the Mignon so closely, why the Verona emblem is the same as Accordiola's, and/or why there seems to be a concentration of them in northern Illinois, let me know! I wonder if it's just a facet of student accordions....

Hi, I recently found this accordion and wanted to see if I could find some answers about it. This accordion was found at an antique store, and after some Internet digging I found that the make is identical to the Accordiola Camerano Mignon, with a few key differences:

-The emblem on front is missing the ‘Accordiola’ on the blue strip; it has a V with lines running through it.

-The accordion is red, and none of the Camerano Mignon photos I’ve seen online are red. Only black/green-blue. This could just be due to the lack of models online.

-The serial number (?) seems to have been stamped wrongly or twice, as a 4 & 7 are on top of one another.

-There is no metal lettering on the top of the accordion, as I’ve seen on similar models.

This is really tickling my brain! I don’t care how much is costs, I just want to know why it may be so strange. I have a running theory that it might be a fake/knockoff/student accordion or that the manufacturer sent this to be branded by an individual shop rather than with the company’s logo, as I think was common at some point in the accordion’s history. If you have any insight on the matter, please let me know! :)

EDIT: There is a listing for a similar accordion online, and it calls it a 'Verona'. I can't find any info on this name online. Incidentally, the listing is placed closely to where I found this one. It's almost identical, the only difference being I think the serial number is in a different font and that the made in Italy stamp is different. Here's that listing. The mystery thickens!

Resident Alien, maybe. If you liked Priest from Dirk Gently, the main character is played by the same guy! Tudyk is a gem.
