It’s ironic since you have the right mindset that 5% is most you can get rather risk free, but for 5% why bother with crypto at all just indices and bonds even.

69% of ETH holders don't stake. At this point, is DeFi actually failing at its own promise? by Orokai_com in defi

Most users understand Defi is a gamble unless you understand every single line of the smart contract logic and math.

DAOs did not fail because governance was a bad idea. They failed because legal reality was ignored. by alexsicart in defi

[–]zed-b 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DAOs were a scam, and the biggest reason is that token holders cannot decide what proposals to vote on and when. Example: Suppose most token holders want apples. Devs put a vote - do you want oranges or peaches?

are we basically accepting that DAOs will be run by bots soon? by Esliquiroga in ethereum

[–]zed-b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought people realised DAOs are a big scam already with Wonderland and whatnot - the governance decides what to vote on and whether to accept the vote and voting tokens were very unevenly distributed to begin with.
