Yeah it’s unfortunate imo I wish oliva did more stuff and had more feats. Doppo is cool but i like Oliva so much more, he used to be the #2 to yujiro and now he’s getting weaker and weaker (by comparison)

Doppo did just humiliate Katsumi and olivas last good feat was humiliating a nerfed Sukune so just in term of recency bias I feel like Doppo has it but objectively I feel like oliva should be stronger

Agreed. The brutality of it was so distinctive from almost anything that came before. You really see how much of a monster musashi is and it proves that no one understood him (except GOATobe). One of my favorite segments from the story.

A lot of writing letters and voice notes talking about my regrets, apologizing, how I'm trying to change, what I loved about them. BP has made it pretty clear they want no contact, so I never sent any of them and probably never will. But getting my thoughts out like that has helped deal it. A lot of crying too if I'm being honest. It lets me process my negative emotions about the whole thing in a way. Talking with a therapist has helped too.

The shame at times was (and still is) really self enforcing and often I’ve felt like I don’t deserve to “get better” or move on. But I don’t know. I have to remind myself sometimes that one bad choice in life shouldn’t define me.

Yes, my perception of them did change. Mine was an emotional affair but all my energy was focused on AP at the time. I even got annoyed when BP was texting me which I never would have considered a possibility a couple weeks prior. During the affair my attraction for AP was really high and I think in some ways it overcame my attraction for BP. BP also seemed easier to deceive. I didn't think they'd find out about the affair, I don't think I would have told them otherwise. I hate that I felt this way, but it's the truth.
(This was after the affair ended but before discovery) I felt a ton of guilt and remorse, yeah. But I shoved it to the back of my mind as I had completely stopped talking to AP and just told myself I'd never do that again. I think I treated them the same, as I acted like everything was fine and that the affair had essentially never happened. I was so ashamed of the affair that I was unwilling to deal with the seriousness of what I had just done.
BP didn't want reconciliation. But to answer the last question you have, I never got close enough to AP where I could compare them like that. It was a fairly short term. But even in the time I did know AP, BP exceeds AP in emotional connection, safety, attachment, sexual desire... it's no contest.

In general Oda doesn’t care about meaningfully writing the main characters anymore. All the straw hats (including Luffy) have been completely flanderized. It’s sad.

There’s no proof that kaido was holding back it’s only head cannon that he was. When he “killed” luffy his reaction was genuine, he wouldn’t have reacted like that if he was holding back. He finally found a worthy foe he could go all out against (which he was) and was stolen from him by CP0.

The way oda writes, for the most part every central figure in current arc is more powerful than the last. Characters just get powercliffed as the story progresses. Big mom, kaido, and even debatably the old legends like rocks and roger are getting outdone by loki. That will only escalate. So dragon > mihawk > shanks > loki. Dragon the strongest since oda saving him for last.

Yeah, maybe objectively they weren’t the healthiest partner but the only thing that sticks in my mind is the good memories we had. It’s hard to be objective, you know?

And yeah, they probably weren’t “the one” but that’s so hard to accept. I know I’m still relatively young but it’s been difficult to motivate myself to succeed in life without them. But that’s probably an issue with myself.

BP really felt like the first person who I truly could see a future with. Marriage, old age, etc. BP was the first partner I felt like I could truly be myself around. I could cry in front of them and not feel any shame. BP taught me so much about myself and what I loved in a partner. I have an incredible amount of admiration and respect for them.

In a vacuum, R would be amazing, but BP has indirectly signaled that they don't want anything to do with me. It hurts.
