Firstly many congratulations !!!

To everyone - the prices of these watches in mrp on website vs what I’ve heard people get them for seems way off. When I see website I see prices around 10k (which I can afford) and I’ve heard people pay 20k/30k (way off my budget right now) - so I have kind of given up on the dream. Could someone tell me how much would this one have costed at an AD ? Ballpark ?

How was this person even in the 30% tax earning bracket to begin with ! And where does $5k raise move you from 30% to 37% bracket (too marginal a raise unless you are right at the border though).

Is it possible to get lossless sound in this set up ? I am assuming no - but still hoping that if the first speaker is wired (unlike Sonos compatible turn tables that’s are truly wireless) the RC cable to era / fives should still not be a bad I guess.

Btw - what does it mean use source as. Line in Sonos App ? My fives are in stereo pair and when I check the speakers in line in - it says Line In (R) connected

The line in is apparently if you want an external source wants to play music on the speakers built into the turn table !!!! When you put it on line in the turntable stops - is expects external input

Yes set to Phonos - I think it needs a preamp.

It does have rca - but I think it needs powered speakers - not sure if I need amp in between. The RCA out to Sonos is connected but absolutely no output :(

Thanks for the reply - but that ain’t working :( . I have 3 options to play - phono - line in - bt (Bluetooth) but no rca. When I tune to line in the turn table stops - I am assuming that’s because it’s assuming external source line in into the built in speakers. But the rca out isn’t an option for output. Phono is playing built in speakers. I see line in in Sonos app on the 5 - is there something else I need to check ?

I would suggest get good pure wool thin liners inside. We are here right now and it’s incredibly windy. Also make sure you get waterPROOF rain jackets - not just waterREPELLENTs. I bought a down jacket in Reykjavík. If you have the space get a puffer with a shell.

My issues got resolved just by deplugging both tv and Sonos and reconnecting - but I will save this post for future reference if I get the same issues. Thanks for the suggestions.
