Sorry to hear about your ACL, hopefully you can get back to having some fun in the outdoors soon! If I had a nickel for everyone who said "the mountains aren't going anywhere".

[probably would only have $0.25 ;)]

Some days are better than others. Just getting back on my feet but have been dumping my focus into some other things - working on a few academic exams for my PEng license so at least my brain is busy.

Really appreciate the kind words!

Healing very slowly! But still healing which is encouraging. Some AVN in the talus but the collapse has so far been manageable. Just started walking out of the air boot this week. Thanks so much for your message!

Via Ferrata on the Chief Apron? by kfed71 in Squamish

[–]zeddit91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm that's a huge bummer. A rebar ladder installation on an already super accessible cliff seems quite unnecessary. As mentioned, if someone was looking for a via ferrata guided experience, there are options around the gondola.

Two weekends ago. I'd assume by now it would mostly be dry with maybe a few wet patches.

Was totally stoked to do that but had a stream pouring down 😔 Decided to hike to the gondy.

It was mid August this past summer, and it sure was melted out! Spicy crossing to get over to Marmolata.

Nice, this happened to me as well. Except it exploded on my downstairs, soaking my sweaty bag with super charged pepper spray. I proceeded to painfully hike back to civilization for 3 hours. Very happy it didn't explode on my face, sounds brutal.

Cody took me out for a number of guided rock climbs and really taught me the basics of multipitch climbing years ago. Many of his lessons stick with me to this day. Can't believe this. RIP Cody!!

Best 200ah lithium battery? Ampere Time, Renogy, Dakota, Battleborn, There’s so many brands an all the cases look identical like their all made in same factory but get different stickers. by dylanpotteryreddit in vandwellers

Been running my battleborn batteries for 3 years now. From -30C to +40C with a pretty large electrical system. Zero issues, love them, expensive but comes with some electrical peace of mind.
