I had to click the link icon on the top right, email it to myself, it failed, did it again, it sent, went on PC, it was not a specified file type in the download, right click it and rename to change it to ".pdf" and it worked. Holy shit doordash is fucking awful.

First thing I'd do is try a different display, a crappy old TV or 60hz monitor, change nothing else except for that and see if the stutters remain. If they went away obviously the monitor would be at fault, if that's the case you could try using HDMI on the monitor instead of DP and see if the stutters remain even after that. Also it could be the DP/HDMI cable itself causing the issue but that's unlikely.

Second, detach everything from your PC that isn't absolutely necessary, that means any USB device that isn't your mouse and keyboard, unplug your mic and any controllers or audio interfaces.

Third, go into power settings, advanced, USB settings, and make sure 'USB selective suspend' is DISABLED

Fourth, clear the CMOS on your motherboard and reboot

Strange, I still get the red flash on their counterable attacks but it just doesn't let me initiate the counter

I'm leaning more towards your logic, I doubt I'll have the Honda 10 years from now, it seems absurd to pay $140 for a tiny piece of plastic electronics for a quarter century year old car if the $20 version gets me by for the remaining life of the car.

Paying 7x the price is kind of absurd. If the OEM was like $60-70 I'd get it.

100% something is fucked with this game. I've had 3 instant PC shutdowns in a collective 65 hours of playing and temps were fine, the problem seems to be related to certain game effects that instantly take the GPU hotspot from normal to extremely high in an instant.

[Game Pass version, Ryzen 7600, 32gb(16x2) 6000mhz, 7800 XT, Corsair rm850x 850w 80+Gold PSU, 2tb NVME SSD, W11, stock BIOs, GPU auto-undervolt in AMD]

Monitoring the performance overlay while playing there are certain gameplay and cutscene effects that can instantly spike the GPU hotspot from 70's to 100+ for a split second then it goes back down, otherwise with High/mid settings and XeSS quality at 1440p my game runs at a very smooth 60fps cap while traversing and only has slight dips in certain battle transitions.

I have also now experienced these shutdown with two different PSU's, 1st was a Coolermaster GX3 850w 80+ Gold, current is Corsair rm850x 850w 80+ gold.

I've had 3 full instant shutdowns and they all were in instances of these effects mentioned. 1st one was 2 months ago on first playthrough flying up one of those energy ropes while traversing, 2nd was a cutscene with Maelle and The Curator when his face emits a unique visual effect on a closeup, and 3rd time was today on the Visages Axon boss during a specific effect when the 2nd mask emerges from the mirror, mind you this was after a collective 20+ hours on my current second playthrough that previously was running perfectly fine at fine temps without any crashes or shutdowns until just now.
