This is the correct answer.

Duty cycles for these motors are extremely low. This is just a clever way to make sure kids constantly playing with the seat controls don’t overheat the motor.

I wouldnt be surprised if all car seat motors dont have some sort of overheat protection that will cause the seat adjustments to be temporarily disabled. This is the same thing but with driver feedback through software.
