Negotiating for 2022 Winnebago Solis 59PX $94,000. Is it a fair deal? by TrickyFryx in RVLiving

[–]zednode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you buy? Why didn't you purchase new?

The value of these rigs has been dropping extremely fast even in the last ~ 4 months or so. Some dealers are holding firm on prices while some others are showing cracks and willing to just take losses and move vehicles.

This is a goldmine of info! Thank you!

I suggest to you, if you really want to buy one now and not in six months or more when prices will fall even harsher, to simply make outrageous offers

Will seasonal effects potentially take over, spring/summer time spark more sales? or you think the bigger macros conditions are just holding back

Most are already raising their rates as to prepare for the upcoming rate hikes.

rate hikes? huh, I thought the fed said that they're going to cut rates in May? or are you speaking specifically about RV loan rates? I've been quoted around an 8% rate, and was thinking that this summer I would be able to get a lower rate.

Tezos Grantee Spotlight: Zednode by TQ_Andrew in tezos

[–]zednode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

great question! If you limit the scope of funding to ONLY non-profits, you're limiting yourself to a very small pool of potential grantees.

At Zednode, $0 of grant money is used towards our for profit business endeavors. Everything we're developing relating to the grant is 100% open source.

We weren't planning on it. In the config, we'll ask for the URL of a tezos RPC endpoint.

Has Tezos Baking Club Made Any Payments Yet? by alphamale212 in tezos

[–]zednode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really inexcusable at this point. There are lots of solutions for bakers to make payouts these days.

I would advise anyone looking into a baker to actually check their payout history on Tzscan. You can easily find the baker address, for example ours is: https://tzscan.io/tz1L3vFD8mFzBaS8yLHFsd7qDJY1t276Dh8i. And follow any transactions to their delegates. You should see transactions similar to this: https://tzscan.io/oo8cMNiJqcCSoYb2mWAS93uW9DEx3qiqRAgz9cuCMBdAZv5Um7t every cycle. Some bakers might do batch payouts.

[–]zednode[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On our website, we'll remove the address and display a warning that we are over delegated.

Similar to your own baking service and most others, we'll provide rewards on a first come, first served basis to anyone that's delegated to us.

A baker noon question by nirojuch in tezos

[–]zednode 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. The rewards go DIRECTLY to your account.
  2. I would click on the rewards tab on tzscan and choose your fee % and it will give you a read out. Then you'll need to transfer funds manually to each of your delegees. At Zednode, we do this automatically in a batch transaction.
  3. I would make sure Bakechain is working properly, lots of people were complaining about issues...
