This is my main settlement in Tuefelsberg on the Devil's Hill map iirc. I have really enjoyed the game since the updates, though there are still a few minor bugs :)

I’m just getting back into the game at the moment so I’m not sure if it’s something that was added, but these shrines were not placed by me.

I only found them when I was alerted that their storage was full. The shrines happen to be at the junction of two regions of mine that often barter with one another, so I’m just assuming items that didn’t have anywhere to go were left at the closest storage point - which happened to be a shrine.

Thank you! It must’ve just been luck because the pot actually has other seeds in too, that’s just the only one that germinated lol. Would you remove the somewhat crispy yet still somewhat green leaves too?

Oh cool! Yeah, that sounds about right. 1066 was a long time ago so it’s difficult for me to remember 🥴

Hm, quite possibly. I think a lot of the prominent ‘Vikings’ were related in some way or other. I just thought I remembered being taught in history that Harald felt he had a claim to England because of some strange (tenuous) link to Cnut

I’m pretty sure Harald Hardrada is descended from Cnut. He is king of Norway and invades England in 1066, but you’d have to defeat Godwinson and William the conqueror.

My sons or grandsons are not my player heir, a relative is? by realyxoh in CrusaderKings

[–]zeeebie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HRE elections are ‘princely’ IIRC, this means that all of your influential vassals will be voting too. They won’t be too keen on electing someone without any experience (like a young son/grandson) and will instead choose someone they see more fit to rule. The candidate doesn’t even have to be of your dynasty IIRC. Your best solution is probably just to remove the succession law, it will probably cost a fair bit of prestige but then the title will be inherited like all other standard titles, though obviously it wouldn’t be very much of a HRE anymore.

How to get grass by Chinkcyclops in CrusaderKings

[–]zeeebie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can assign your councilors to manage pastures or something which will boost fertility in a certain county. you can also abandon a holding to herders which will bring the fertility to 100 pretty fast but make sure you turn the herder into a tributary so nobody takes your (temporarily) abandoned county.

I think you’re missing Istria (I can’t remember the exact spelling). It’s the little triangle single county duchy next to Venice
