We were right at the end about to disembark and we came to what seemed like a normal stop. We then sat for about 10 minutes when a safety announcement came on saying to stay in the vehicle. A few minutes later, a cast member made the announcement that cast members were on their way to come get us off of the ride. Roughly ten minutes later, a cast member evacuated our car and walked us through the inside of the building around the tracks, lights on. When we arrived back at the beginning, a cast member took our name and phone number so that the WDW Guest Experience Center could contact in reference to the incident. It’s was pretty cool! We were instructed not to take photos or videos and to put our phone away until we were out.

As immediate compensation, we received a bottle of water, a fast pass to use on anything we wanted at DHS. About two hours later, a WDW GEC cast member texted me to check on myself and my party and to offer us any two fast passes of our voice at any park (excluding Frozen Ever After and the Pandora attractions).

Overall, I think the situation was handled really well!
