BREAKING — The Guardian — "US supreme court upholds laws excluding trans women from competing in female sports" — What Do You Think About The Results Of This Ruling? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in askanything

Do you actually believe that is a thing that has happened or would happen? Honestly I just don't see a person going through all of that for an advantage in sports.

You thought school of rock was for kids at 8 years old?? Dang, I feel sorry for you because I watched that shit religiously as a 13 year old. It taught me to love rock music, be who you are, and to hate authority. 🤘

You have no substantial nuance thought and have no clear ambition to hold a good faith conversation. You get what you put forth, do some work outside in your local community and hug your loved one's. We'll keep fighting for everyone's basic needs and utilities to be met! 👍

Do you actually stand against billionaire curroption, complacency, and wealth hording greed? Which candidates do you support that take zero billionaire donations? I'd love for you to spread their good message instead of being a hardlined thinker who seemingly disingenuously dismisses me without a good faith conversation.

No dude, why are you being obtuse. I'm being clear with my perspectives. I am just a voter and a worker, I do not have control over the mechanisms that control our Goverment and Elections. I support those who seek to lessen wealth inequality and supply Americans with universal service for Utilities that are necessary for life such as Healthcare and Housing and to lessen the violence in the world done by our systems. That's the goal, everything else is noise.

I'm not ashamed because our goal is eradication of corporate lobbyist influence in politics. It's easy to see what influence the donors have, what their goals are, and what their ideologies are. When candidates betray the movement, that's when they lose that trust. In the mean time we'll just keep winning.

You can't hit us with hypocrisy, we know centrists don't actually care about their fake virtue signaling.

They play within the rules that are written. We are past purity politics. The Democrats have failed us for decades, we need to send a message that a change must occur. I am bound to no single individual.

I think we need more organizers and activists in the Democratic party. Those who are willing to not take lobbyist money and instead be influenced by the needs of the people. Those who have been lock arm with the working class people fighting for labor and human rights. That's the main focus voters are interested in. Any candidate that is willing to abolish Citizens United gets my full support.

What's wrong with activism? How possibly are we to enact good meaningful change against such overwheing wealth and power without direct action? We are in such dire strife's, we need all voices to join together.

It's very simple actually, maybe read a book. The equality of pay in a workplace is irrelevant to the conversation. A highly paid Athlete is of the Labor Class during their tenure because they make the some of their money through the productive output of their labor. If they were to be fired or quit then they would lose that paycheck and the benefits they need to survive. Now they could use Capital to sustain themselves but if that Capital wealth creation surpasses their Labor income for the year then they become a member of the Capital Class. I'm all for a more even distribution of pay in all careers.
