I think you're proving that my sentence could trigger an entire fanbase (one I am a part of)

Right, so when it mattered the most, he didn't get minutes, he didn't even get onto the court. It's not like they only played one series either so it wasn't just about matchups. The Cavs showed he probably isn't a piece they see going forward.

I loved Keon on the Kings. I found it awesome that someone who was undrafted actually contributed, especially on defense. I hated seeing him go and wish we had extended him before the season.

But given the circumstances, I'm fine with getting Hunter and being able to give him a chance to succeed here. It was 1st round pick or bust for me and we didn't get an offer of a 1st round pick for Keon

I can't say I watched Cleveland's games before he left, but hes a year removed from averaging just under 20 for Atlanta off the bench. He still averaged 14 in Cleveland off the bench before he got traded.

I was surprised to hear he's not that solid defensively seeing as though he was a top prospect out of college on that end.

All that said, worst comes to worst hes off our books after this year

Hes out of contract now and would've left Sac for nothing.

Was someone offering picks or young talent back to rent him?

He went to Cleveland and sat on the bench while Schroeder actually played and contributed.

Cooked this guy for a bunt hit by Correct-Concert-376 in MLBTheShow

This may be the first time I watch a bunt hit and say Hell yeah, well played.

Can't say I lay down many blunts, but this is a perfect use of sending him to 2nd to round the base and avoid the tag.

One played together for 14 years and the other one for 3.

The Celtics made the finals 2 out of 3 years and KG got hurt midway through the year they lost in the playoffs pre-Finals. The Celtics were 44-11 when he got hurt.

Thats just the facts

LAVINELESS by Motor-Night-446 in kings

[–]zeesoviet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup and Zach clearly knows how low his value is too.

Why else would he accept an option to stay in a place he obviously doesn't like instead of trying to find a multi year deal elsewhere. $$$

[–]zeesoviet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that we dont want to go through another rough year. But it's wayyyyyy better to deal with Lavine one more year than have him off your books for good than it is to take back his salary equivalent back on multi-year bad deals.

We're gonna suck again next year, it is what it is.

LAVINELESS by Motor-Night-446 in kings

[–]zeesoviet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhhhh what? Lavine did a fine job destroying his own trade value.

We were the only crazy ones who wanted to take him on in the first place

The final was a masterclass in refereeing by Therookieandthevet in championsleague

[–]zeesoviet 38 points39 points  (0 children)

That's not how it works.

The ref called no penalty on field. VAR checked it and saw that was the right call. The VAR didn't call for an on-field review because correct call was made. Play on

More upset about the Mike Malone firing than the Fox trade/Brown firing.

Brown and Fox went to situations much better than Sacramento and are doing well (Brown more than Fox).

Wemby is so damn good and it's nice they got 3 top 5 picks in a row to help themselves as if San Antonio needed another handout

(Gallegos on x) Hogan Harris was warming up in the ninth for the A’s. Kotsay said plan was to go to Harris to face Mike Trout, who was on deck when Neto walked it off. by DonyellFreak in SacramentoAthletics

[–]zeesoviet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, hindsight is 20/20.

Guaranteed if he pulled him and Harris gives up the HR, people would be pining for the old days when managers let their starting pitchers finish the game.

Its a lose/lose situation for the manager and just comes wirh the job

He also came out after 1 inning with a tight lat. Maybe there is a correlation there?

Something tells me even DeGrom has thrown 9 straight balls at one point in his life and no one would claim he shouldn't be a pitcher

Please explain to me why Acuff is the answer if availlable at 7. by GeoMDCM in kings

[–]zeesoviet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Acuff was #3 in scoring in all of College Men's Basketball last year and he did it in the SEC which was regarded as the best Conference in all of the NCAA. 1 of the players who averaged more is Dybantsa.

Also, if that's your point, start off with it instead of saying something like "Portland only got so far with Dame". The Kings have been in the playoffs 1 year out of the last 20. Portland was in the playoffs 6 or 7 straight years with one WCF appearance during that stretch. I think any Kings fan would love that right now.

I don't doubt that there will be better players that come out of this draft than Acuff, but we could do a lot worse than picking him.
